Semiconductor hub
The Latvian Chip Competence Centre (LCCC) is the national hub for Latvia’s semiconductor and microelectronics ecosystem. As one of 30 European competence centres established under the European Chips Act, we strengthen the sector by guiding organisations towards relevant expertise, infrastructure, training, and funding, and by connecting them with appropriate partners in Latvia and across Europe.
The Latvian Chip Competence Centre is led by Riga Technical University (RTU) in collaboration with the University of Latvia (UL) and is co-funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Education and Science Republic of Latvia.

Open Calls
LCCC regularly launches Open Call competitions, where SMEs and start-ups can apply for technological services in the field of microchips and related technologies.
These calls provide access to LCCC infrastructure, expert support, and technological capabilities necessary for the development, testing, and validation of new solutions. If you wish to use one of the available services or develop your technological idea, our team will help assess the possibilities and identify the most suitable collaboration format.
